Hi, I’m Laurie — a yoga teacher and unapologetic logistics magician based in Bali.

I design and produce boutique yoga and wellness retreats that feel effortless, well-paced and deeply considered—blending mindful movement, smart recovery, real local flavour, and the kind of tiny details that elevate the entire experience.

I moved to Bali at 45 (Zimbabwe-born, 28 years in Cape Town), learned Bahasa Indonesia, and built trusted on-the-ground teams—drivers, therapists, chefs, photographers, and behind-the-scenes fixers who make everything run seamlessly. I know the backroads, the shalas with rice-field views, the venues that actually deliver when it rains—and how to hold the container so you don’t have to.

What my retreats feel like:
Beautifully balanced days that flow with intention—yoga, mobility and recovery woven with meaningful experiences, nourishing food, and time to connect. Think thoughtfully curated schedules, spa time, chef-led dinners or favorite local warungs, and one unforgettable “wow” day (beaches, snorkeling + lunch, jungle ATV adventures, or white water rafting through breathtaking scenery).

For groups looking to add something a little more dynamic, I also offer the option to incorporate padel—with pro-led clinics, curated match play, and court access seamlessly integrated into the retreat experience.

Everything is tailored to your group’s energy, level mix and intention—fun, connected, and quietly well-organized.

My superpower:
I’m detail-obsessed without being fussy—color-coded run sheets, transfers that arrive exactly when needed, backup plans for tropical weather, and thoughtful touches (welcome kits, sweat towels, court snacks, sunset surprises). Clear communication, strong boundaries, and a lot of laughter.
